There seems to be no word on the VIP pass they used to do that gave access to the shower hour love + videos from it. Sucks cause it means only people who get the DStv channel can record straight from their tv, unlike previous years. Hopefully they will work it out since it used to be really popular.

A few housemates have already said they will shower naked.

From what i gathered it seems like the free stream won't show shower hour but you can upgrade for the prenium which does ? not sure tho

It's monday to friday 10:30pm GMT time. There's supposed to be a morning one around 9am but they haven't said much about it yet.

Will try and check it out. Will try signing up tomorrow seeing as they won't show it on Saturday or Sunday as you said Monday to Friday.

Is that stream a separate thing from the VIP pass? Cos Rigby said they haven't decided whether they are doing the VIP pass yet.

IDK i presume from the site link i posted it would show the shower hour i don't know.

The streams are actually ripped from the TV channel. Shower Hour is shown on the special livefeed tv channel too. So I guess the free stream is just interrupted during that hour.

There seems to be a monthly stream only option for DSTV, where you don't need to buy a satellite dish. Works out at 40 euro per month when converted. Perhaps could be purchased with a South African VPN?

The shower hour from this they will only show the showers for 30 mins. Why call it shower hour if they are cutting to 30 mins.

haha no idea. I have to say that last season they did was 1h in the morning and 1h at night. But i feel like we'll just have to wait and see how they do it this year cause it still seems unclear. I've heard people say it's 11pm actually, others said 10pm.

I reckon it is 30 minutes because they are packaging it as a TV program and it is to fit a schedule.

I hope for your sake the one you signed up for has the Mzansi Magic channel.

On the free stream it says it won't show the shower hour and won't stream the weekends on the paid one there is nothing about that.

turns out there is no actually live shower hour but they show a 30min compilation of the showers the previous day. As far as I know only guy who showered naked was Sis Tamara. But last night was the first night and they were all in there, things could change.

Bummed they don't show it on the feeds, and girls are braver than men this year.
