I was curious if anyone understood the rules to the paradise hotel shows? Are they standard elimination shows or is there another way the players win the competition?

You need a partner. Every week a new contestant moves in. Boy/girl. They also need a partner and now you have one too many boys/girls. At the end of the week, everyone will choose a partner and the one left without one has to leave. That's basically it.

There are chairs. Either the boys will sit, or the girls will sit. The people with a chair is safe. The ones standing are unsafe. If two of the people chooses the same sitting person, the person who sits will have to choose on of them to partner up with. The one left standing has to leave.

Thank you for the explanation. So as the show moves on do they somehow trim down the number of contestants?  Or am I making an incorrect assumption that there is a winner at the end of the season?

What is the best way to upload content? Is there a video sharing service that we collectively predict will maintain reliable links longer than the competitors?

Through the season when a guy or girl is sent home by not being chosen, they are replaced by someone new. Towards the end of the season, they are not replaced and the group winds down until there are only two left. Then they do something to pick a winner, but I don't understand how the winning money is split up because I can't translate.

There are two couples in the final. The other contestants are the jury and will vote for the couple they want to win. This a quite cool, as many contestants backstabs and lies alot to get far in the game. This can bite them in the ass in the final. 

The winning couple then do a test of trust, to see if they actually care about each other. The prize money will continuously increase. If a finalist drops the ball they hold, he/she takes the current prize money alone. If they both wait untill the end and no one drops the ball they have passed the test and they will share the whole prize money. If a finalist drops the ball before the test is over the other finalist gets nothing.

In  the archive video section, both You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login have posted videos from older PH Norway and Sweden series. Unless they have had these for years, or they were taken recently from some other site, they must have full seasons. Some of us have been searching endlessly for full seasons to no avail. Please--if you have them, share them. The clips are incrediible, but the whole episodes makes it much better!!! You can be a hero!
